His data-driven approach has led to the successful prosecution of providers in two of his most impactful cases—one involving the overprescribing of antipsychotic medications, and another exposing identity theft and false claims submissions through stolen beneficiary IDs.

As a co-founder and Product Manager for Deloitte’s Pallium—an innovative predictive analytics and case management platform—Dan played a pivotal role in transforming Medicaid program integrity operations in multiple states. Under his leadership, Pallium was successfully implemented and CMS-certified across numerous jurisdictions, earning national recognition for its effectiveness.

But beyond the resume, Dan brings something even more valuable: a relentless curiosity and a deep-rooted belief in doing the right thing, the right way.

“Become a trusted advisor to your clients,” Dan says. “They’ve hired you for your expertise—give them value that advances their mission. Let the data speak. Remove bias. And above all, never stop being curious about how fraud evolves.”

When he’s not fighting fraud, Dan finds joy in drumming and landscaping—activities that echo the rhythm, patience, and precision that define his work. He lives in Mississippi with his wife and is a proud father of two sons, their wives, and two grandsons. (He’s also a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan, for those keeping score.)

Dan is especially passionate about exposing and eliminating harmful practices like the reuse of pharmaceuticals, which pose serious risks to patient safety and public trust. “It’s a silent issue that’s putting people at risk and lining the pockets of unscrupulous actors. We can—and must—do better.”
