If you follow Advize, you know we are fans of Pulp Fiction as we will get back to you in two shakes of a lamb’s tail, etc. While you read this week’s Come Fly With Me, please listen to a song by Dusty Springfield, and placed so perfectly in Pulp Fiction.
This week I traveled to Springfield, VA which is such a cute town near DC. If you have been to the area or know anything about it, you know that there are many people who serve our country living in the area. There are some beautiful places to hike and enjoy other urban activities. I enjoyed this website but my best part of the town is my family lives there so I am spending time with them when I am in town and not enjoying my usual home, a hotel room.
Yard House is in the mall and although it is a chain, I love the place because their menu is fun and they always have my favorite beer.
la Madeleine was such a great spot on my way into Springfield – it smells delicious if you love the smell of fresh baguette and French onion soup cheese goodness.
Brunch is a serious situation and I am going to have to go back to try these places next time.
We will end there because if you know me, during the entire month of December I feel it is a celebration and I want to toast and cheers with bubbles so I will leave you with…
“Bein’ good isn’t always easy. No matter how hard I try.“
