Hi Friends! Summer is here and we are going to feature our favorite spots for business and fun meetings. While I am grounded for the next few weeks during my mom’s recovery, I am going to feature my favorite spots away from Orlando. Let’s start with my favorite city in the summer, the big apple. Here are three awesome places for meetings and/or fun:
Daintree Rooftop Bar & Lounge
Close to times square just south of Bryant Park. It just opened last year and is still catching on so not very busy but easy to hear and engage in conversation. “Perched high up in the Manhattan skyline, Daintree Rooftop Bar & Lounge showcases some of New York City’s best views.”

Library Hotel (Rooftop bar near Bryant Park)
This is a great well-kept secret, the 14th Floor, “featuring the Writer’s Den and Poetry Garden & Terrace transforms into Bookmarks Lounge an intimate rooftop bar offering literary-inspired cocktails with inspiring city views.”

Gansevoort Meatpacking
This gem of a hotel that I discovered last year across from Restoration Hardware contains a great coffee, cocktail and rooftop bar. It has that navy and gold 1920s trend to it and really makes me feel like the roaring 20s are here.
According to the website (and I agree) “Welcoming our local intellectuals that crave more from their coffee, enjoy an elevated experience over the perfect espresso paired with an extraordinary location inspired cocktail. Sit in our open air lounge and transport yourself to the cobblestone streets of Paris, Italy, or Spain where every day is enhanced by the taste from a local barista or mixologist. Cocktail menus to be inspired by our travelers and drinks that emulate top destinations around the globe.”
Also fabulous in that the hotel was renovated in 2021 and is unique within the meatpacking district bars.
