In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I want to share with you a story that embodies hope, perseverance, and the belief that good things can indeed happen to good people. It’s a moment that has profoundly impacted me, and I hope it inspires you too.

✨Chapter One – Fix You

The first time I heard a Coldplay song was circa 2005. So much has changed since then, and little did I know, it marked the beginning of an incredible healing journey. Coldplay’s songs have been my constant companion, and their music has become my safe space, guiding me through it all. I even painted a whole mural and moved to the States to go to their concerts. Do you love/admire a band/someone like that?!

✨Chapter Two – Your Limitations are Just Your Imagination

Fast forward to last year, I went to Seattle to see them. The day after their concert, I had to change hotels. I missed my train and a yoga class that I had booked. I was in town, trying to find my new hotel, when I turned back and saw the back of a guy behind me.

✨Chapter Three – You’re in Control, Is There Anywhere You Wanna Go?

Okay, so probably half a block away, on the opposite side of the street, I saw the back of this guy and his gray hat. And I just knew it, it was Chris Martin. I immediately started following him. Of course, there was a “warning work ahead sign,” and the street was closed, no zebra crossing, so I decided to walk through the trolley way, because why not?! What were the odds? If that was Chris, everything would be worth it.

✨Chapter Four: Til Kingdom Come

In that moment, I confronted uncertainties in my own life. Having recently quit my job, so much grief was happening, and meeting Chris seemed like a beacon of hope. I mean, this band has been with me through all these years. Despite doubts, I followed him, against traffic and my own mind telling me that there was no way on earth that was him. But I kept walking, guided by my intuition. And then, there he was – this meeting defied my expectations and reaffirmed my belief in the extraordinary. The rest is history. I met one of my heroes, he was exactly how I expected him to be, I got to tell him how much I love them and their music, and I got to really learn that I was in the right place and that my intuition will always take me to unbelievable places.

As I reflect on this journey, I’m filled with gratitude for this moment. Some lessons:

đź’« Always look back: celebrate your wins.

đź’« Your intuition is your constant companion, listen to it.

💫 It will be worth it: it is not about what others think. Run through hills, even if you are carrying bags and feel hopeless; just don’t stop. When your heart tells you to keep going, please do that, you will get to unbelievable places.

đź’« Keep your friends close: Shoutout to each one of you at Advize for receiving me with open arms and supporting me through each step of the way. Jeanmarie Loria, MBA, PMP, CPC was the first person I called right after this moment, and she has been with me through this whole journey. Thank you.

💫 Manifestation is a powerful thing. I manifested this daily for years. To Chris, Jonny, Will, Guy, and Phil – your music has touched countless souls, including mine. I hope you read our post and know how much someone at Advize loves you and will always continue to spread your message with every step she takes. May this story serve as a reminder that amidst life’s uncertainties, pain, and grief, love and faith can lead us to beautiful places and extraordinary people. Thank you all for reading this blog (JM really wanted my story to reach each one of you). Thank you for allowing me to share this deeply personal experience. Though it may seem surreal, it’s a testament to the amazing moments that await when we dare to dream and believe in love.
