This month Advize Health held our fourth webinar. Presenter Melissa Jewett, one of Advize Health’s Auditors, spoke about Prepayment and Postpayment Reviews. Melissa is a Certified Professional Coder with AAPC ICD-10 and Medical Coder certifications, specializing in Quality Assurance. Throughout the webinar, Melissa focused on the procedure, rationale and historical context of plans rolling out pre and/or postpay audit programs as well as the associated CPT codes for the most successful audits to data mine and implements an audit program to discover common FWA. Also, she covered the strategies for investigation and recovery in a prepayment audit program vs. a postpayment audit program.
Overall, there was a great turnout for this webinar and our team received an immense amount of positive feedback, complimenting Melissa on the informative presentation.
