I got a chance to grab Advize’s newly minted Director of Information Technology and Compliance, Mr. Ricardo Pryce and ask him a few questions about himself…
What were you doing before you joined Advize? How did you “find each other”?
I have been working in the IT Security space for over 10 years. Prior to joining Advize I worked in the South Florida region for 2 of the biggest CPA firms in the country as a security and privacy consultant. I have been fortunate enough to have worked on IT security projects within every major industry. Those industries included Healthcare, Energy Resources, Hospitality, Technology and Finance. A former colleague of mine introduced me to the CEO of Advize Jeanmarie.
Are you still in South Florida?
Yes I currently am. I have also spent time in New York and Atlanta.
What else do you like to do, Ricardo?
I am mostly a homebody however I am trying to change that. As a result of the industry that I work in, I am required to travel quite frequently. As a result, in the past I preferred to spend time my personal time at home with family and friends.
However, throughout the years I have gained a new appreciation for traveling and learning about different cultures. I plan on venturing out to new places and traveling a lot more in the near future.
