The Advanced Practice Provider Executives (APPex) conference was a successful gathering of some of the finest Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the healthcare community. Over several days, APPs participated in leadership seminars and training sessions designed to facilitate networking with fellow healthcare professionals, gain fresh insights for implementing best practices in their organizations, and address clinical and administrative challenges that span the medical industry.
Advize’s very own Julie Janeway and David Bolden had the privilege of attending this conference, where they collaborated with APPs on recognizing and addressing legal exposure, establishing robust business practices to enhance quality outcomes, and ensuring compliance when sharing services with physicians. During the conference, Advize had the opportunity to hear about the challenges APPs face in their workplaces. These concerns encompassed understanding the critical importance of legal compliance for their organizations and navigating a reimbursement model often dominated by physicians.
In response to these concerns, Advize is actively engaging with internal and external resources to support APPs in their mission to provide essential services. We acknowledge the need for additional education and support in the healthcare community and are in the process of organizing a wide range of resources that APPs can integrate into their daily operations.
